Friends Lens lets a host create an event and invite guests to take a limited number of photos from their own device, which are then collected into a shared gallery for that event.
Anyone can create an event. You're responsible for the event you create, including its name, settings, and how you share the invite link or QR code with your guests.
By taking and submitting a photo, a guest agrees the photo can be stored and shown in that event's shared gallery to other guests and the host. Hosts are responsible for getting any consent needed from their guests before sharing an event.
Each roll is retained for a limited window measured from its event date: roughly 30 days for free rolls, and roughly one year for paid rolls (with photos moved to a private cloud archive after the first 90 days). After that window the roll and all associated photos and guest names are permanently deleted. Hosts can also end a roll at any time, which deletes it immediately.
Friends Lens is provided "as is" during early access. We do our best to keep photos safe and the service running, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted availability.
We may update these terms as the product evolves. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
